In the 18 July 2019 edition of Waitrose Weekend, BBC 6 Music presenter Stuart Maconie rightly pays homage to João Gilberto and urges us to get to know the Gilberto/Getz album of 1964, “recorded with the great American jazz trumpeter Stan Getz”.
I have the album with Getz on tenor sax but will now endeavour to obtain the Getz on trumpet version, which has somehow eluded me.
I wonder if there has been a JJ review of this clearly rare album.
