Nubya Garcia is the latest artist to be announced by the festival team and will join a growing programme of performers, including Gregory Porter and Sergio Mendes.
Garcia’s brand of Afro-tinged jazz has made her a key component in a number of new and established groups. She has collaborated with MOBO Award-winning drummer Moses Boyd, and jungle producer and toaster Congo Natty and is a band leader and core member of Maisha and Nérija.
The full Cheltenham Jazz Festival line-up will be announced in February 2019.
