Ralph Flanagan Orchestra: Swing to 45

I’m pretty sure no Glenn Miller fan would be disturbed about this album (Mr Flanagan devoted himself to the mummification  of the Miller style).

However, I did detect a hot trumpet solo by Billy Butterfield, rather out of place amidst “The Wedding of Lili Marlene” and “Washing Machine”.

The sound is good and so are the arrangements and the (dance) band proficiency.
