Preview: EFG London Jazz update




Serious, producer of the EFG London Jazz Festival, has announced a second wave of shows for this November's 25th anniversary festival

The 2017 EFG London Jazz Festival - which runs from Friday 10 to Sunday 19 November - will celebrate the event's 25th birthday and promises an extensive line-up of performers. Following the opening announcement of artists and shows (previewed by Jazz Journal here), festival producer Serious has released details of another 10 concerts. This second wave of performers includes Ben Cottrell's big band Beats & Pieces, French bassist Henri Texier, the duo of Chris Thile and Brad Mehldau, and a matinee appearance at the Barbican by Cuban pianists Chucho Valdez (pictured right) and Gonzalo Rubalcaba.

Andy Sheppard Quartet - Saturday 11, King's Place

Ben L'Oncle Soul: Sings Frank Sinatra - Wednesday 15, Cadogan Hall
